Bad breath is a very thing habit that can ruin your image in front of your friends or relatives. But don't worry too much because there are simple methods and common foods that can clean your mouth and keep it smelling fresh all the time.

First of all, water is the whole plan and the easiest solution. Drinking plenty of water helps to clean the remains of saliva and dead cells in the mouth. This prevents those nasty bacteria that produce bad breath from getting a chance to settle and reproduce. If you dry your mouth, you invite nausea to your colleagues.

Eat plenty of fruits and vegetables like carrots, apples, and watermelons. These things stimulate saliva to come out in large quantities to clean the mouth naturally. Fruits with Vitamin C like oranges are another story because they eliminate gum diseases like gingivitis and halitosis. Cherries are also very important to lose the strong smell of onions or cheese you ate during the day.

Ginger is also a potent remedy because it contains a compound called 6-gingerol, which breaks down sulfur in the mouth. You can gargle with a mixture of ginger, lemon, and hot water for quick results. Green tea and yogurt with probiotics also help kill bad bacteria and leave your mouth feeling clean. Finally, chew sugar-free gum to remove plaque from your teeth and stimulate saliva production.
