Mining crypto while browsing

Have you ever come across some site that promise to pay you in crypto while you browse?
Well as for me I have encountered many and most of my friends warn me about those sites because they may be a scams or contain hacking software
Do you know about these?

I know few that are legit but the money they pay is so little that it will take you 6 months to make $1. One good example is Brave browser.

Crypto Tab browser is one popular browser that promises to pay you as you keep browsing. So many people claim to have earned from it. I have never earned from it though.
