The battery has completely expired when you see the battery swollen like that. What you need to do is to dispose it as soon as possible. It can spoil your phone. B

When a mobile phone battery is swollen, the only solution is to change the battery. I have experienced this before.

Yes, I experienced it some years ago. I believe it happened because I overcharged it. I failed to unplug the charger.

How do you know that the phone was overcharged? Often the phone is kept for charging overnight since it is not used at night often for 8 hours or more.

I have not experienced it. That seems scary, You have to remove the battery of your phone and replace it with a new one at your nearest tech store.
