It is understandable to be concerned about an individual’s overspending. One way to help that person is to recommend an app or financial advice to offer support. It is tough seeing someone, especially a friend, potentially facing financial hardship, especially when he or she is new to the workforce. You can suggest to your friend to explore some budgeting tools or financial literacy resources. There are many free apps and websites that can help with tracking expenses and creating a savings plan. Maybe you could explore these resources together, making it a fun and collaborative activity rather than a judgmental conversation. Remember, the key is to express your concern without making your friend feel judged or attacked.

If I find out a friend overspends, I may talk to him/her directly about the potential financial problems s(he) may encounter. As mentioned, I will also recommend some financial apps to help him/her to keep track of his/her expenses.

It is essential to help someone close to us who doesn't have a break in spending The time comes he will run out of money and experience again the agony of financial failure. It's best to give someone a dose of advice to awaken his senses.

There are a lot of people who like to spend more and save less, or save nothing. Fear of becoming broke during old age is not on their minds. They like to enjoy now and never care if they suffer later.

If you have friends or relatives whose expenses are so large that they cannot save, then the first thing you recommend is not super sophisticated tools or apps, but you must be able to change their mindset, increase their willingness and discipline to save.

That's a very good suggestion. Next time, I will bring my friend to the bank to let her see people saving there. Hoping she will be exploited, so she could save her financial future.

If a person is spending a lot and can't save, the main problem is their mindset. They should focus on fixing what's wrong with their mindset so they can start saving a little, even if it's just to begin with, and then see what else comes next once they've changed their mindset.
