Austin, Texas, a mortuary owner, was accused of "experimenting" on severed body parts from corpses she was in charge of cremating. According to a probable cause affidavit obtained by local outlet KXAN, 50-year-old Adeline Ngan-Binh Bui, owner of Capital Mortuary Services, was accused by a former employee of tampering with government documents by fraudulently using the employee’s information to amend death certificates.
The report said that Bui reportedly told police she only used the employee's name because it was in a drop-down menu, but the employee said Bui incorrectly used her name around 128 times.
The report also said that the suspect also allegedly used formaldehyde to conduct "experiments" on severed body parts from bodies that were to be cremated (including heads, arms, and spines). Bui told her employees the experiments were to research the "effects of embalming
