Most effective mosquito repellents

There are many electrical/electronics products like mosquito bats, repellents for killing or getting rid of mosquitoes. Do you use any electronic mosquito repellent and if yes what type of repellent do you use?

We had one before, but it broke after a year. We bought it online for a low price, and the quality was poor.

There was one we bought some time back, i really didn't see the effect, after awhile we started using the insecticide.

We only buy a Quick mosquito spray, sometimes Bygon. We only do this in the evening when we are about to sleep and are in our bedroom to avoid the bad odor.
