Mother sentenced to decades in prison for infant's starvation death in hotel room

According to the report, a Texas mother has been sentenced to decades in prison following the tragic starvation death of her 3-month-old son in a Waco hotel room. Skylynn Tuerk was sentenced after pleading guilty to charges of murder, injury to a child, endangering a child, and possession of a controlled substance.

The report also stated that Judge Susan Kelly handed down a 40-year sentence for both the murder and injury to a child charges, and two years each for endangering a child and the drug charge. Tuerk will serve the sentences concurrently and must complete at least 20 years before being eligible for parole.

The report added that the hotel room was discovered to contain cockroaches, raw meat, and methamphetamine, with no substantial food for the children beyond juice boxes and fruit snacks. Police found half a gram of methamphetamine and a drug scale in the room, as well as swords and knives.

Just look at the face of the killer, it seems she is not in her right mind because of drugs. I pity the 3-year-old baby starved to death by his mom.
