Mouse or touchpad For playing video game?

When we play video games on pc some peoples use mouse for playing the game and some use the touchpad for gaming purpose, but most of the times peoples use the mouse for gaming and that is why they invented gaming mouse and that is why it is expensive than ordinary mouse, personally i like to use my touchpad on my pc wile playing video games and i can't play with mouse, i have tried many times but still can't figure our how to use it.
What about you which do you use for playing video games

Bro you maid me lough, i only use the touchpad when i play any games, its just easy for me to use it, i use my right hand for direction arrows and also for the touch pad. most of my friends use this technique when we play cod modern warfare 4 multiplayer.

To me, I prefer using pad to play game because you will see many different button to use when playing the game and it quickly pressing. But using mouse, you can not use all the pad just to play the way you wanted. Therefore, I prefer pad than mouse.

Same here, i really enjoy playing video game with the touch pad instead of using mouse, it is way easier to use a pad.

I'm not one of those who plays a lot on PC since I have the PS5, but when I play video games on the computer I usually use the mouse, in my case it seems more comfortable.

I use controller only when i play FIFA, i can't play a war games with controller i am poor at aiming with controller.

I would buy a gaming joystick and play my games even on my PC. Why would I have to endanger my touchpad or mouse because of gaming? I am a heavy gamer and would exert too much pressure on the mouse or touchpad that might damage it.

True, and use controller only when i play FIFA and mortal combat games but for first person shooter games i choose keyboard and mouse because to be honest its very hard to aim with controller.

I feel if it is something you have always used and you have gotten used to it, it becomes easier over some time. I was always used to mouse which is why I find that the better option I guess

I have never tried playing with a mouse or touchpad before, I always buy a gamepad for playing.
