Moving From One Software to Another

A lot of website building software allow you to move to other software. For instance, if you created a free blog on blogger and how you want to self your website with wordpress, you can easily move your blogsport blog to wordpress. This kind of migration is also possible with forum software, you can move to other software. By the way, how often do you change your website software, do you find it smooth?

Best would be stay in same software. There are almost always some between addons which can help in migrating process, but they must me up to date. In case I must migrate everything, I would you .csv files as export/import documents.

I moved my site/forum from MyBB to Xenforo, because I needed a mobile friendly version, and other core features.

I rarely change my software. Most times, i prefer to stick to just one software.
