Mrs Edna Ibru, the wife of Chief Felix Ibru, the first civilian governor of Delta State, has passed away in London. The sad news was disclosed by her son, Dr. Paul Aidido Ibru, in a statement issued to the public

The mother passed away on Wednesday, January 15, 2025, following a brief illness. In his statement, he described her as a woman full of life, adding that her passing was unexpected and left the family heartbroken.

Ibru family is well known in Nigeria and abroad. The family is one of the richest family in Nigeria. If money can buy back the deceased, Ibru family will buy back her life. . May her soul rest in peace

This is so sad, my parents knew the Ibru family back in the days, they attended the same church and where quite close for a while, i haven't been born that time though.
