In this digital world that we live, businesses are increasingly going digital. They are establishing strong online presence and moving business practices operations to the digital space.

But that begs the question, is it every business that can go digital? Think of the vulcanizer, the barber, the fisherman,. and all other menial businesses. Is it possible for them to go digital? How?

I don't think every business needs to go digital. Very small local businesses that just serve a limited target market it can easily reach by word of mouth don't need to go Digital. The street barbershop doesn't have to go digital to thrive and keep making money.

There is no necessity for all businesses to go digital. Going digital is dependent on the nature of the business you run, and some businesses cannot do it. They must conduct business in person. However, if you own an e-commerce business, going digital can certainly help.

The truth of the matter is that not all businesses can go digital but that doesn't mean they cannot be advertised digitally or even receive orders digitally. A barber can advertise his or her business online, and even receive private orders where they go to the client's house for cutting. And as some would call it, home delivery.

The use of digital technology depends to a large extent on the sales of the business. Smaller businesses with lower sales often remain offline, since it is cheaper not to use technology.

I agree with you, almost all businesses can be advertised digitally but can't be done digitally that's just it.

There are some businesses that would not go digital and still thrive. For instance the kiosks and the hawking of different products to motorists on the roads. These kind of businesses have no need to go digital.
These businesses would be limited to a level of just a street kiosk. If it has dreams of expanding to a supermarket, it needs to go digital at some point.
