'My love will see you through'. This was the text message sent to me by my ex who studied in Manila and I was in my city Cagayan de Oro City, the City of Golden Friendship.

I never knew that it was the last text of my ex bf. That afternoon he met an accident along the road. He was about to cross the road when a reckless driver hit him killing him on the spot.

That evening I saw a huge black butterfly that suddenly entered our home and early in the morning, his mom called me about death of my bf.

I'm afraid to fall in love again and may remain single forever. Can't you blame me for decision?

That was tragic. I cannot believe the news from his mom. That was the month of August and he promised to come to visit me in December but it will never happen. Life is cruel sometimes, but I always keep in mind that everything happens for a reason We were not meant to be.
