My mobile device not saving contacts

This is like the fourth time my device fails to save new contacts. Every time attempt that it keeps telling me the contact is not saved and truly it's not saving them. when l restart the device, the problem may persist or cease. What could be the problem behind that?

Do you still have enough memory space on your device? And when was the last time your phone was formatted, maybe it has bee corrupted?
