My smartphone automatically enters dark mode by 7pm.

I am using an android smartphone. I have observed that my smartphone automatically enters dark mode by 7pm and returns back to light mode by 7am.

Is there a way to turn this feature off on the phone? I have tried to see where I can find such settings but no avail.

Can you clarify what you mean by dark mode, the model number and brand of the smartphone which you use. Many of the smartphones have a lot of settings, and finding the relevant setting is often tedious and time consuming.

I know that on my iPhone 13, there’s a setting to enable dark mode for specific hours. I’d recommend checking your phone settings—you should be able to adjust it there and turn it off.

Have you checked you bedtime mode settings? Most smartphones today have an option to setup bedtime mode. It's possible you have done something there.

I have never known about such a setting. I would have to explore the whole setting menu to find that out. I believe it might be around the Display section.
