Yesterday I received an email giving me a confirmation code to change the password for the twitter account and l never requested for one. Someone from Brazil was trying to hack the account in vain.

But this is a network that no one needs and there are a lot of bots. I would just try to delete your account because there is no such level of security there

My X account has never been hacked before, I hardly even make use of the account. But there was a time where my Facebook account was hacked, the person deleted majority of my pictures and post. Luckily I was able to get the account back.

It is really unfortunate to hear that. There are people out there who will go to great lengths to scam or harm others. It is important to update your password and make it more secure. Also, be careful about clicking on links easily.
