According to the report, NATO has stated that they will respond to the attack the Russian Federation conducted on Poland where nearly 20 Russian drones violated their airspace and began to penetrate deep into the country. As 40,000 Polish Soldiers mobilize to the border regions in preparation for the Russian Zapad exercises Poland has now closed all of their national borders with Russian and Belarus.

The report also said that Russians have responded with a direct threat of war if the borders are not reopened. Russia continued to grapple with worsening fuel shortages, while the US and NATO continue to grapple with indecisive leadership, as multiple countries including the US are straying away from calling the Russian action against Poland an attack. Ukrainian forces have held their lines today on all major fronts, and have inflicted sizeable losses onto the Russian army.

Putin should have not acted impulsively. Russian troops suffer a lot from this tyranny of Putin.

The situation between Poland and Russia is very tense, especially with the border closures and drone violations. NATO’s response and the mobilization of 40,000 Polish soldiers show the seriousness of the threat. It’s clear that impulsive actions from leadership can have severe consequences for both military personnel and regional stability. Ukraine holding its lines demonstrates resilience despite the ongoing conflict.

(Salem News Channel) Poland scrambles jets, closes Lublin airport in ‘preventative’ move
WARSAW (Reuters) -Polish and allied aircraft were deployed to protect Polish airspace on Saturday because of a threat of drone strikes in neighbouring Ukraine, and the airport in the eastern Polish city of Lublin was closed, Polish authorities said.

The Operational Command of the Polish armed forces said the planes took part in an operation near the border with Ukraine “to ensure the security of our airspace”, three days after Poland shot down Russian drones in its airspace with the backing of military aircraft from its NATO allies. “These actions are preventative in nature and aimed at securing airspace and protecting citizens, especially in areas adjacent to the threatened area,” the Command said in the statement.

There was no mention of any violations of Polish airspace in the statement.

Poland said its airspace was violated by Russian drones overnight from Tuesday to Wednesday as Russia struck Ukraine, where it has been waging war since February 2022. Russia said it had not been targeting Poland.

The Polish Air Navigation Agency said the airport in Lublin and a controlled zone around the airport had been closed to flight operations on Saturday.
