According to the report, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu visited Nir Oz Kibbutz, near the Gaza Strip, on July 3rd, Thursday. This was his first visit since Hamas militants penetrated the border and ravaged homes on October 7, 2023. The PM faced protests over his government’s failure to prevent the assaults and protect the civilians. The protesters also demanded the return of hostages held in Gaza. Touring the devastated sites in Kibbutz, the PM promised to help the people rebuild the place. On Oct 7, 2023, Palestinian gunmen crossed the Gaza border and attacked Nir Oz along with other targets, killing 1,200 people and taking 251 back to Gaza as hostages.
