According to the report, Israeli Defence Minister Israel Katz has instructed IDF Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Herzi Halevi to reprimand Maj. Gen. Shlomi Binder, head of Military Intelligence, after reports suggested Binder warned of potential security risks linked to US President Donald Trump’s Gaza plan. Katz emphasized that IDF officers must not criticize the plan and directed the military to prepare for the voluntary emigration of Gaza residents. Binder clarified he did not oppose the plan but analyzed its security implications.
The report added that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, in a Channel 14 interview, rejected the idea of a Palestinian state, citing Gaza under Hamas as an example of failure. This interview occurred during his Washington visit, which included a joint press conference with Trump. Trump announced plans for the US to “take over” Gaza, prompting global backlash. Saudi Arabia reiterated that ties with Israel would require the establishment of a Palestinian state.
The report added that a document seized by the IDF suggests Hamas is concerned about youth emigration from Gaza, fearing it undermines their power and resistance narrative. Meanwhile, US CENTCOM chief General Michael Kurilla visited Israel to discuss regional strategy and threats with IDF leadership.
The United States should take control of Gaza, funded by surrounding nations, and transform it into a neutral economic and cultural hub for Middle Eastern prosperity. American contractors, using local labor, would build state-of-the-art infrastructure, creating a self-sustaining, thriving city with secure borders and no American residents... if only.
