Newly elected Pope Leo XIV is a Chicago native who led the Augustinian order

On the second day of the conclave, Cardinal Robert Prevost was elected as the first-ever American pope. White smoke billowed out of the chimney above the Sistine Chapel Thursday evening. Pope Leo XIV was born in Chicago and worked extensively in Peru and Italy. His brother says he loves to play Wordle and recently watched the movie Conclave.

He doesn’t have any citizenship anymore. Pope Leo XIV belongs to the world. May God bless you, Pope, and may you shed light on the world full of hate and anger. He was born in America. He spent many years in Peru. But now he walks in the shoes of the fisherman. He belongs to the world. Amazing, a Chicago native who has spent over 40+ years throughout South America in the poorest cities in Latin America with a dual Peruvian citizenship. May the Father, Son, Savior, and Holy Spirit guide him to continue the work Pope Francis left.

That's right mate. Pope Leo X1V can make it. God chose him, so it means the new pope is capable to change the mindsets of those non- believers of Christ to divert and delve deeper their thoughts that there is only one mighty God.

Now the story of Pope Leo XIV has become like a hero story, he no longer has any nationality, he is like a person from the whole world, people consider him as a spiritual leader and not just from one nation, it is like the wind blows everywhere without borders and everyone feels that he has his place.

It is like saying that this Pope has become a beacon of light on the road, everyone passes by and finds his light without being asked where he comes from or what flag he has, the whole world considers him as the property of all and that has made his name greater than the borders of any country.
