On March 30th, The Lagos State Government had announced the planned reopening of the Third Mainland Bridge on Thursday, April 4, 2024. And this has been accomplished yesterday.

However, motorists have been warned to observe speed limits when travelling along the newly repaired Third Mainland Bridge.

This information is in a statement issued by the agency’s spokesperson, Adebayo Toafiq, on Wednesday.

He urged motorists to observe all traffic signs and stated that full operations will resume on April 4, 2024, following extensive repairs
