The recent report from Consumer Price Index and inflation data by the National Bureau of Statistics, NBS. has it thar Nigeria’s inflation rate surged to 34.80 percent in December 2024 from 34.60 percent in November

The December inflation data showed that the country’s inflation further rose marginally by 0.20 percent due to heightened demand for goods and services during the festive season.

I hope it would now be reduced as the festive period is over

That was so high inflation rate in your county last year. Hoping it will slowly reduce this year. Higher inflation rate is a problem anywhere in the world. We are thankful, the inflation rate in the Philippines went down.

Well it has not really changed it has become static but still very high. People can't still have money but we are getting by
Oh, I am sorry mate to hear about the situation of your inflation rate. The solution for that is for your government to invite foreign investors to invest in your country and national investors to invest more to raise your economy to the highest standard.

That's right. You got it and I hope the president is doing just this as he has been in series of meetings with other countries

That is a good indication that the brain of President Tinubo functions for a common cause to invite investors. You have a huge population ought to help by giving them jobs when investors are coming in.

Sure, more employment opportunities with good pay would help the masses. We just need to work both hard and smart

The youths there must organize something that could assist the community to earn and do farming and planting vegetables and other crops to sustain their daily needs.

Let us not wait our government to take action of our woes. We also suffer here high prices and the government does not have actions to reduce the rate of the commodities. It is hard to think how this happens. They just blame the inflation.
