Nigeria experienced yet another national electricity grid collapse on Monday evening,

This has brought about widespread power outages across the country. the incident, occurred at 6:58 p.m., in a statement posted on X

it reads , "Please be informed that the power outage being experienced is due to a system failure from the national grid at 6:58 p.m. today, affecting the power supply to our franchise areas."

That's bad mate. Sorry to hear about it. I hope it is restored now and current came back. The electrification company should do their job because people pay them but their services are unsatisfactory. There should be another committed and dedicated electrification company to emerge soon to replace the useless electric company.

Agreed but emergency fixes can only do so much.

What needs to happen is a thorough cleaning-out of the electrical services to root out corruption and graft; this is one of those areas where foreign aid from outside, applied judiciously and specifically, can really help.

That is right, the root cause of this problem on electrification is corruption. People doing this do not have conscience. They are after of their personal satisfaction of gain and greed. The Nigerian government has the power to investigate the cause and litigate the root cause.

Yeah, but will they?
Its' a helluva lot easier to do little things and kick the can down to future leaders than actually getting your hands dirty and changing things now.
