Nigeria inflation increases again

Nigeria’s inflation increased to 15.15 percent in December 2025 from 14.45 percent in November.
This is according to the latest Consumer Price Index and inflation data by the National Bureau of Statistics released on Thursday.
The data showed that the country’s inflation spiked by 0.7 percent on a month-to-month basis.

I believe that what actually pushed the inflation up is the new tax law. There is some panick and a lot of people start taking irrational actions. A lot of people start withdrawing their money from the bank.
