According to the report, tensions rose between the United States and Nigeria after President Donald Trump threatened military action over the alleged persecution of Christians. Nigerian President Bola Ahmed Tinubu rejected the accusations, reaffirming Nigeria's constitutional guarantee of religious freedom while pledging to defeat terrorism through diplomacy.

The report also said that the dispute follows Washington's decision to list Nigeria among countries of particular concern for alleged religious violations. Trump's remarks have sparked outrage in Nigeria, with citizens warning against foreign interference.

Amid Boko Haram and ISIS-linked violence that has killed over 40,000 people, Abuja seeks global cooperation without compromising its sovereignty.

I believe that now our president will act rightfully,it's a shame for a well develop nation like this to be suffering from insecurities and Christian been deprived of their right mostly in the northern region we all have freedom of movement as part of our fundamental right

Until i see the results, I won't believe anything the Nigerian government says. They have been making a lot of vows for a long time now, no results.

It seems Tinubo is afraid that US President Trump will send to Nigeria the US forces to annihilate the terrorists especially that famous terror group, Boko Haram. It's learned that Boko Haram is backed up by ISIS.
