Nigeria to take part in the Women’s Africa Cup of Nations

Perennial rivals Nigeria and Ghana will rekindle their long-standing football rivalry as the Super Falcons and the Black Queens square off in a friendly match ahead of the 2024 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON).

The international friendly between the two African women’s football powerhouses will take place in Morocco as part of their final preparations for the tournament.

This is a trophy that Nigeria ha always dominated with a very distant second. The Falcons would probably win again.

Africa women football has really developed over the years and very professional women national teams have risen up.
