The Anambra State Police Command has arrested nine suspects involved in the kidnap and gruesome murder of Hon Justice Azuka, member representing Onitsha North 1 Constituency in the Anambra State House of Assembly, . Nigeria

Azuka was kidnapped at gunpoint on December 24, 2024, along Ugwunaobankpa Road in Inland Town, Onitsha, while returning home for Christmas.

His lifeless body was found by security operatives near the Second Niger Bridge on February 6, 2025
 
That was outrageous, what was the motive of the killing? It might be revenge. That was a cowardly and immoral act of the 9 criminals. May the suspects be sentenced to death. There was also a governor in my country, shot to death, and 8 others while discussing the incoming projects in their province.
 
Many refuse to run in the politics this time. The are afraid to be killed by an unknown assassin hired by a political opponent. The former zone head in the city where I live was assassinated by his rival. He was planning to run as city mayor. He was a potential candidate but so sad he was murdered in his home.

I was invited before to run in politics as a city councilor but I refused, It is not my thing. They cannot force me. I have my own life and decisions. Politics is made deadly and ugly.

There are many bad influences here of politics. That time I was freshman in college and politics does not give me happiness. I want a free life with less burden. Politics is not an easy thing.

That is right, many will stab you on the back especially the oppositions. To join in the politics is like committing suicide. It's better to live in an ordinary life. There's no enemy to harm us and our family.

That's right I know this that is why I don't indulge in anything politics . I don't have the patience for their violence
