According to the report, US Deputy Special Envoy Morgan Ortagus emphasized that Hezbollah's involvement in Lebanon's government is a "red line" for the Trump administration.

The report said that she expressed gratitude to Israel for defeating Hezbollah and highlighted US efforts to prevent Iran from funding terror proxies. Ortagus also affirmed the US commitment to preventing Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons.

The report added that Amid Hezbollah's political influence in Lebanon, Ortagus's remarks come as Lebanon's PM-designate faces difficulties forming a government, with ongoing tensions over the ceasefire agreement and Hezbollah's military presence.

That was the best decision made by the Lebanese government to let a Hezbollah terror acquire a seat in the government, there might be chaos and clashes of opinions that may lead to a civil war in Lebanon,
