In doing a business, conflicts of interest are always there. They could derive from the customers , from the workers, or from family members. The usual complicated cases are borrow money, purchase in credit, or series of cash advances from the workers.

When these happen to you, make the problem solving easy by just saying No.

That's right, and those people will not hesitate to keep on coming back. If you refuse you will become bad to them so the first approach of borrowing must be denied.
 
Business people don't always know that they have the first right of refusal. Some of them are always emotionally blackmailed and they fall for it. Someone would come with little kids to your mini grocery shops to collect items on credit so that the kids can eat. The soft hearted nature would make you want to give the person.

Why would I give such a person things for free? I don't know her or her kids and I would say no.
