Not understanding bank charges

Increasingly people who are not very educated are using online payment due to peer pressure and other reasons. These young people cannot read or write, especially in English, so that they cannot understand the bank charges and lose money. Do people using online payment face this problem in your country?

In my country banks charge a lot of savings fees starting from a monthly fee of almost $1, ATM card fees, fees for withdrawing money either by ATM or via mbanking, so basically we lose money when we save money in the bank.
