According to the report, Alyssa Smith believed she would receive a 90-day sentence in jail and probation for the death of her 6-month-old son, Royal Bates. Royal was attacked and killed by a pit bull mix in April 2024. Nearly a year later, Smith and Royal's father, Blake Bates, were charged in connection with his death.
Now both have pleaded guilty, and the judge slapped Smith with a much longer sentence after her sister told the judge about her lack of care and remorse when it came to her children.
So thankful the sister spoke up about how absolutely horrible they are as parents. Both of these parents involved should never see the light of day again. Watch when the ambulance leaves. She didn't care to go immediately because she had to walk away from the cops and call someone to get to the house. She was more concerned about whatever drugs were in the house than going to the hospital. Cruel parents, drug addicts. They knew that drugs kill and being their lives to hell, but why did they accept the offer to take the illegal drug?
