One year without USAID has left refugees and humanitarian organizations exposed. Personally, I think it reflects the fragility of aid systems. What surprises me is how quickly gaps in support become crises. For me, the most important aspect is resilience—local groups must adapt to survive. I believe international cooperation is essential to fill the void. In the end, aid is not charity, it is lifeline, and its absence is deeply felt.
