Some workplaces have overtime pay rules which they strictly follow, but others expect employees to stay late without the extra pay. The way companies handle additional hours often depends on policies, contracts, or even workplace culture.

Is it better to strictly enforce overtime pay, or should flexibility be allowed?

At my workplace no one is mandated to extend their time, so after 8 hours duty, all employees must leave the work promises. But offices having extra pay for overtime working is followed. They are paid extra hourly.
