A 45-year-old man has d!ed while trying to rescue his goat from inside a deep well in Mokola area, Saki community, Oyo State

The man entered the well with aim of rescuing the goat, but was trapped and couldn’t come out, Oyo State Fire Services Agency said while confirming the incident on Wednesday.
The Chairman of the agency, Mr Moroof Akinwande confirmed the incident in a statement.
He said the lifeless body of the man was recovered from the well by operatives of the fire service.
According to him, the Oyo Fire Service received a distress call about the incident on Monday at exactly 22:23 hours through a telephone call from one Mr Yusuf Ismail.

I am pretty sure the rescue team didn't come on time as well, but the man shouldn't have had to take such risk

That means the well is so deep. Since it is a well, there should be a notice as a caution to the public users of the well. And why the goat was not tied properly. Perhaps it was his fate. May he rest in peace.
