The report said that a massive escalation by Pakistan was expected after PM Modi held a crucial security huddle in the wake of the Pahalgam terror attack. The Pakistan Army opened fire across the International Border in Jammu and Kashmir's Pargwal sector. Small arms firing was also reported along the Line of Control in the Nowshera, Sunderbani, and Akhnoor sectors on the intervening night of April 29 and 30.

India is in a solid position to defend the borders, including the difficult terrain in Kashmir. Targeted air strikes would facilitate the ground soldiers to cross the border towards Pakistan.. Aerial mapping of the valleys, mountain peaks across the border is needed for a long-term plan. Historically, Pakistan belonged to India . Hoping this war won't further escalate.
