According to the report, Operation Sindoor: Pakistan’s cross-border shelling along the Line of Control has escalated, with at least 13 people killed and 59 others injured in Poonch, Jammu, and nearby areas. Residential and government buildings were hit for the first time since the 1971 India-Pakistan war. Among the dead were four children and local shopkeepers. The Indian Army confirmed the death of a soldier, Lance Naik Dinesh Kumar. Authorities closed schools and airports in affected regions, and relief efforts, including blood donations, are underway. Locals have been evacuated to designated shelters for safety.
