According to the report, at least five migrants from Pakistan died by drowning after their wooden boat capsized off Greece's southern island of Gavdos, the coastguard said on December 14.

The report said that Greek authorities rescued 39 men, most of them from Pakistan even as more people are feared missing. Meanwhile, in a post on X, Pakistan Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif vowed action against "illegal human trafficking" while assuring support to the victims of the December 14 tragedy.

Human trafficking must be banned. They met their untimely death because of that practice. These people are helpless humans.

It is very unfortunate that people will lose their life over such trivialities. Poverty caused by greedy politicians have pushed poor people to seek alternative ways to survive. I don't think anybody will like to leave his country to seek opportunity in another country if the economy is okay. RIP to the death.

Those victims of human trafficking failed to evaluate the invitation of the culprit They may be alive up to this time. They should not have decided impulsively. It is risky to travel by the sea if travel with a poor ship.

It is well, all in the name of searching for greener pasture. The government of every country needs to work on making their country better for their citizens, then we won't be having cases like this.
