New reports say that the US is thinking about the future of Gaza now that a ceasefire between Israel and Hamas is in place.
According to the report, the US reportedly believes that Gaza needs to be rebuilt, or there's a chance that Palestinians will eventually rebel. It will be difficult to rebuild Gaza seeing as there are about 2 million internally displaced Palestinians in the enclave.
The report said that the Trump Administration is reportedly considering temporarily relocating them to a safe third country while Gaza is rebuilt.
Reports say Indonesia is being considered as a possible host nation. But Indonesia says it had "never heard" of this relocation plan before.
That is now the problem if Indonesia refuses. President Widodo cannot be easily convinced. Many believed that if the Gazans were shipped to Indonesia, they would never be allowed back after reconstruction had ended. Don't fall for this offer. It's a ridiculous story about moving Palestinians to Indonesia. This idea doesn't come from a healthy mind, it's the sick ones who wanted to take over the Palestinian land. If the Gazans were able to survive while the war was ongoing, why can't they be allowed to stay, why repair Gaza? I doubt if they can come back to Gaza.
