ParaZero Signs First DefendAir Contract with Israeli Defense User

According to the report, ParaZero Technologies secured its inaugural DefendAir contract from a main Israeli defense entity. DefendAir is a counter-unmanned aerial system technology that uses a net to capture and disable enemy drones with low collateral damage.

The report stated that the package includes multiple sets of the weapon as well as integration and training services for rapid deployment. The Kefar Sava-based company noted that the customer is currently boosting capabilities to match the growing drone threat, so the risk to ground is inevitable.

The report added that this procurement underscores the urgent need for advanced, scalable counter-drone capabilities, so it is expected that ParaZero’s Defense System can be launched via an interception drone, a stationary turret, or a hand-held gun.

Additionally, this drone has an effective range of 2 to 100 meters (7 to 328 feet), depending on configuration, and has a net size ranging from 9 to 100 square meters (97 to 1,076 square feet).
