Passive Income in Business

I often find that many businesses/companies not only rely on income from the main source of business operations, but they also have passive income by utilizing the company's sources of wealth or assets to create passive income. Passive income will be presented in the income statement as other income. Passive income can be in the form of interest, rent, dividends, royalties, profits from sales of fixed assets, etc. So should you as a businessman also strive for passive income?

I also earn a passive income in my workplace and in other company. I receive a dividend every year and put it back to gain more in the next year. It's good to have a passive income.
