PayPal is getting stricter not only on the charges but also on the members' credentials. When I received my payment from Discussion Bucks for May, I was not able to log in as easily as before. There were many requirements. At first, I was confused and worried, but what they required of me was to confirm it as me. I confirmed what they displayed, and I was so shocked to see details about my home location, my work location, and its address. Flashed were numerous details, and I wondered where PayPal got all those displayed on screen. I confirmed it and not only once but twice as per instructions by PayPal, before I was able to log in and transfer my money to my bank. It seems our credentials are not safe this time on the web. I understand that the reason behind it is a series of frauds this time on the web.

They might end up loosing customers if care is not taken, especially now that there are a lot of options for people to choose from.
That would surely happen, especially of their charges. When they received the payment there's deduction and when it's sent to my bank another deduction. For $9 for example, PayPal charges
$2. 5. Almost no more left for the recipient of the money.

That's way too much. I think if most platforms start making use of other payment methods, and there is a reduction in the number of persons using paypal, they might have to reconsider most of these things.

I have not checked it because I have not received any payment from any site in the recent time from PayPal.
I know you are very busy at work and with family affairs. What about in Myloot, are you not active there? Haven't you received a payment on Mylot?

Even though I have had a PayPal account for more than 15 years, I have never encountered an incident like what you experienced, make sure the Paypal address is correct, I made a bookmark to avoid phishing sites, be careful my friend, check before doing anything.
