PayPal USD Overview

PayPal USD or PYUSD is a stablecoin that runs on the Ethereum blockchain and operates as an ERC-20 token. PYUSD is pegged to USD at a ratio of 1:1 and is also backed by short-term US securities. PYUSD is issued by PayPal and collaborates with Paxos with the aim of being a digital payment and on Web3. Currently the value of PayPal USD or PYUSD is equivalent to $0.998. Market cap $298 million. Some well-known exchanges that provide PYUSD include: Coinbase, Kraken, HTX, Bybit, Bitget etc. However, in my country PayPal does not provide the PYUSD feature, what about in your country?

Paypal USD or PUSD is a great coin with great potential, i am fond of a Yellowcard app account and that is where I am buying it and storing it from. I think Binance also has it as well just like is the case with Bybit.

I am sure you mean the yellow card app right? This wallet is tailored for our convenience in most African countries as we can make deposit and withdrawal transactions to banking facilities and mobile money facilities. The recent introduction of Paypal USD now links us to a Vimoe account which is now linking us to the world out there.

I really believe that PayPal came to the fray quite late. The stable coins sphere has already been dominated by big players like Tether and USDC. I don't see PYUSD getting much usage by people.

l too not sure if the PayPal new feature, the PYUSD has been enabled in my country.I will however make more research on that to find it out

PYUSD has seemed to fail as a stable coin. I don't see anyone using it that frequently. In fact, I have never seen it's usage as a payment method or as an hedge..I think PYUSD would just naturally fizzle out.
