Accordong to the report, the Pentagon has approved sending long-range Tomahawk missiles to Ukraine, pending President Trump’s final decision, CNN reported.

The report said that these missiles, with a 1,000-mile range, could allow Kyiv to target deep inside Russia. Meanwhile, Ukraine showcased its growing strike capability by hitting two energy sites in Russia’s Oryol region with modified Neptune missiles.

The report added that in Donetsk, Ukrainian special forces landed in embattled Pokrovsk to counter Russian troops. President Zelensky vowed to halt Russian offensives, calling the situation difficult but insisting defenders were destroying invading forces.
