Peter Obi,, The 2023 presidential candidate for the Labour Party, Nigeria has urged Nigerians to use this final days of the Lenten period to seek divine intervention for the nation

Obi wrote this in a series of posts on his X account yesterday

Since February 14, 2024, where Lenten season started, Christians have continued to fast and prayed for divine intervention.

The Holy Week, has presented us the opportunity to soberly reflect on the many challenges we are facing as individual and collectively as a nation asking God’s for divine intervention

Am not against seeking divine intervention but notting would happen, until we ourselves realize that changes need to be made and actually put in conscious effort individually to change. Then everything we be okay.

That's right , the change we need starts with us. Yes prayers os needed but we need to apply physical work to us for easy change.

Exactly, one major problem we face is that we tend put everything in prayer and not put in any works. It's just like a person praying for food, then someone gives him food, only to start praying for the food to magically vanish into his stomach. Prayer is extremely important, and we should always buy things into prayer as a nation, but physically we need to put in effort as well.

My point exactly, the truth is that faith without works is dead. We as a nation need to come together to work things out . Let pray quite alright but let do more by working it out physically too
