The Philippines' national security adviser called on Friday for Chinese diplomats to be expelled over an alleged leak of a phone conversation with a Filipino admiral in a significant escalation of a bitter row over the South China Sea.

China's embassy in Manila had orchestrated "repeated acts of engaging and dissemination of disinformation, misinformation, and misinformation this promoted the foreign affairs ministry in the Philippines to expel the Chinese diplomat. What he is doing is a violation of privacy. They should be sanctioned for this violation.

The office of Philippine President Ferdinand Marcos Jr and the foreign ministry did not immediately respond to requests for comment.

The two countries have been embroiled in a series of heated stand-offs this past year in disputed areas of the South China Sea as the Philippines, emboldened by support from the United States and other allies, steps up activities in waters occupied by China's vast coast guard.

If they are not being helpful to the Philippines then they need to be expelled to bring in better staff
They are the sources of bad gossip. I hate Chinese who are in the Philippines like their consulate.

Yeah some foreigners are some times not valuable to their host countries which is appalling
We're afraid here because China wants war with Philippines. They're insane. Our country is very small compared to theirs though USA and other allied nations are all ready to protect Philippines. Where shall we hide. I plan to create a tunnel.

A tunnel? that will be one amazing place to hide away but hopefully it wouldn't get to that.

Nah, it is very difficult to survive underground with no electricity and air. We are afraid here because the anger of the two countries escalates.

Yes, when two angry people are warring you might just need to seek for a safety place but hopefully it doesn't gets to that

China is always very difficult people to relate with. Moreover, they are always ready to go extra mile to get whatever they want. I think Philippines should not give them soft landing. As it stands now, another conflict is about to escalate in that region.

Indeed they are difficult to negotiate. Just recently, they want to build another island in the West Philippine Sea. They're abnormal people who cannot sense what's right or wrong.

Yea that's how it should be, but the way I see it, any wrong move could end up bringing out a full blown war.

That's right caution needs to be applied here. But then the right thing needs to be still done
