Police arrest 'attempted kidnap' of 18-year-old girl who was 'followed by a man off a bus

According to the report, a man has been arrested after the 'attempted kidnap' of an 18-year-old girl who was followed off the bus. The man allegedly got off the bus in Cardiff at the same time as the girl and followed her on Saturday evening.

The report stated that a passing driver is believed to have intervened after noticing something amiss. Police are urging the woman to come forward to help with the investigation.

The report said that a 33-year-old man was arrested within hours of the incident and remains in police custody. The report also said that Detective Inspector Laura Parsons said that incidents such as this one are extremely rare, and that she would like to reassure people that we have arrested a suspect who is in police custody.

The report added that a spokesman for South Wales Police said a man has been arrested following what is being treated as an attempted abduction of an 18-year-old woman in the Pontprennau area of Cardiff on Saturday, February 28. A local man, 33, was arrested within hours of the incident being reported and remains in police custody.

Additionally, Detectives investigating the incident are trying to identify a woman motorist driving a black car who saw the incident and stopped to intervene.

Thank God they where able to arrest the man, the girl was so lucky, hopefully this man won't be able to harm others again.

At least, there was a good man who intervened the alleged criminal. He might want to rape the 18 years old girl.

I'm curious as to what prompted the 'good Samaritan' man to intervene. Because following a person on a public street does not mean that one wants to kidnap a victim.

The suspect was arrested and was detained. He was suspected for an attempted kidnapping which the criminal didn't deny.

I can say that kidnapping is still a very serious crisis in the world for so long. A long term solution should be looked at to end that awful forgood.

The kidnapper didn't expect to be seen by the savior of the girl. Thankfully, she wasn't harmed. We cannot trust people this time.
