The political violence in Bangladesh is affecting the Muslims in India. Hindus are being targeted in Bangladesh and some social fanatics are targeting the Muslims in India. This should be handled by the Indian government. Only the Indian government can deport infiltrators not the social organization.

It is rather unfortunate that Bangladesh's issue is having a spiral effect on India. A case of suffering your neighbours problems too. Indian government should be proactive and rise to resolve the issue.

The present government in India is inert to ethnic problems.

Political violence is a global thing now affecting everyone. I hope a top would be put to it and people lived better
It's the political parties that are dividing the country in the name of religion.

They should not hate the Muslims living in India. The sin of their president is not the sin of all Muslims. There are only a very few bad Muslims, the uncultured.
It's the religious fanatics who spread hatred and don't understand that we should secular.

There are few unfortunate incidences and they should be controlled with immediate effect. Religious fanatics belonging to any religion are a threat. They have been doing this in all the regimes, not only the current ones. Indeed, if we see the data and statistics the communal violence has decreased a lot in the last decade. So, let's not colour the entire country and the regime bad. India is a secular country and it ensures that every community is equal and safeguarded. Uniform laws is the best way to ensure true secularism.
On the contrary, it is worrying to see no political party in opposition saying a word on the atrocities on Hindus in Bangladesh. They are all mute. They are so much into lecturing when it's about Gaza, Israel etc. Somehow, the so called secular and Intellectuals don't seem to be fair. Their secularism is biased

Let us hope that Bangladesh gets back on its feet. It's a pity for those victims of religious fanatic group. May they be blighted and have peace again and move on in silence.

I don't hope they are going to get out of this political crisis that soon as they are under financial crisis too.

The Indian Muslims belong to India so they shouldn't be hurt. Our Prime Minister has requested the interim government in Bangladesh to protect the Hindus there.

They're not to do a damn thing in Delhi; why?
Narendra Modi's government is a socially conservative, Hindu nationalist party that targets religious minorities/lower castes with sickening regularity. If anything, they'd be tempted to push Bangladeshi Hindus into fighting back and inflaming things, not tamping them down.

There is a lot of media management ( more of foreign media management) and wrong notions made around the current government in India. Unfortunately, many within India have been a part of this propaganda. Narendra Modi is a proud Hindu. And that does not make him conservative. He doesn't shy away from his religious practices. That doesn't imply that he is communal. On the contrary, his push for Uniform Civil law is actually practising secularism and not only have empty talks. He is one PM who has done most for the minorities upliftment on social and economic grounds and not just used them for vite bank. He abolished Triple Talaq, a law that has given him support of so many Muslim women. He does not go for appeasement of a small fraction of fanatics. His vision involves upliftment of the community and not let them be left behind due to religious barriers.

Now the Indian government can't force anything on Bangladesh government but just request them. Being a conservative Hindu in once own country isn't a crime.

I totally agree with @aninditasen . Being a conservative Hindu is not crime and so is following any other religion. Your practice of faith is your personal choice. As long as it doesn't hurt others or creates a trouble in the society, everyone should be respected for the faith they follow. It's a part of their identity. A leader can be a proud Hindu, but still secular in his way of functioning. He can't be called otherwise just because he doesn't get involved in the superficial vote appeasement with empty talks.

At the moment, it is when the majority of Bangladeshis' are of the Muslim faith....and the Indian government doesn't have to do anything overt towards Bangladeshi; it can, though, threaten its' neighbor and essentially dare the other major power in South Asia - Pakistan - to do anything about it (Bangladesh used to be known as East Pakistan).
