Posting Frequency: How often is too much to publish promotional content?

For me, I don't feel good to see a business or brand churn out promotional contents everyday. When it comes to content marketing, how often is too much? How can brands strike a balance in frequency of contents they churn out?
 
When it comes to advertising, the most important thing is conversion. If the adverts is converting, they should continue but if it is not bringing results, they should stop. Ability to ascertain the success of an advert is paramoint in marketing.
 
Posting too much can often lead to fatigue in your customers. It would be better to give some breaks while doing this. Posting two to three times is okay.
