There are so many myths around making the battery life of smartphones to last longer. One of those myths is that not allowing the phone to drain below 20%would make the battery last longer?

Is that factual? Or just another of the many talks on the issue?

Yes i have heard about this, smartphone battery often comes with charge circle. Letting your battery drain below 20% can reduce your life circle.

Hi, in my opinion, that myth isn't entirely true. It's true that today's smartphone batteries, which are lithium-ion, shouldn't be fully discharged frequently, as this can damage them in the long run. However, it's also not advisable to keep the battery constantly above 20%. Ideally, it should be kept within a healthy range, between 20% and 80%, to reduce stress on the battery and extend its lifespan. The reality is that batteries have a limited number of charge cycles, and they degrade over time, no matter how well we take care of them. The most important thing is to use good quality chargers, avoid extreme temperatures, and not let the battery fully discharge frequently. In short, don't obsess over that myth, but do follow good practices to care for your phone's battery.

I even heard another theory about preserving battery life of devices. That one says that you should charge and stop only at 90% and never 100%. That would make the battery last longer according to them.
