President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has signed the N54.99 trillion 2025 Appropriation Bill into law. The bill was passed by the National Assembly on February 13, 2025, after being increased from the initial figure of N49.7 trillion submitted by President Tinubu.

The budget was signed during a brief ceremony in the President’s office, on Friday, February 28.
The 2025 Appropriation Act represents a 99.96% increase from the 2024 Budget of N27.5 trillion.

Budget on what exactly, at the end of the day we won't see a single thing they did for the country. It is well.
What an irony, they might be the only ones enjoying the money. That amount might land to their pockets. How nice if that budget is intended for infrastructure, salary increase, shool buildings improvement, or opening more roads and bridges.

More like a budget for their pockets. it's really appalling that we suffer so much even in the midst of abundance. it's well

Exactly it's just for their pockets. Imagine this kind of amount and we still don't have a solution to constant electricity? @Starmix you are right, they are the ones enjoying the whole money.

It's obvious if there are no projects done by the government in the entire year, it means they're corrupting the people's money, It's a difficult problem to be solved by an ordinary citizens.

The funny thing is that at the end of the day, they would still bring a long list of what they did with the money, but that's just it, we won't see any actual changes in the economy.

That is very bad, it is better to let people know and see what they have created to prove their worth and sincerity. It turned out that they get richer and the country poorer. There are indeed greedy politicians.

They are not only greedy they are very corrupt too. and the funny thing is that this is money they can't go to the grave with.
Correct, they have all the negative descriptions , greedy and corrupt and they can never bring their corrupted wealth six feet below the ground. They think, they will never die because they have plenty of money.

Sometimes I just wonder with their mindset. It is really appalling to see the level of greed some people have very way above the top.

Yeah, it seems they are never contented with what they have when the fact is clear, they are already rich. And they are getting richer from the corrupted money.

That is just their aim, they don't care about what the people are actually going through, they are just after enlarging their personal pockets.
