President Bola Tinubu has approved the construction of a 600-capacity hostel complex for the Nigerian Law School in Abuja. The President also gave the green light for a new road to be built, linking the Body of Benchers Secretariat in Jabi District to Nile University.

Tinubu has directed the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, to begin work immediately on the two new hostels, each with a capacity of 300 students. The projects are to be executed under "emergency consideration," according to a statement released on Tuesday by the minister's media aide, Lere Olayinka.

One major problem of Nigeria is misplaced priorities. It seems that our government don't actually know the real problem of Nigerians. When people are dying of hunger and starvation, government is building hostels
